i have scantronic 9448 for garage . fitted pir on enty & axit but alarm wont set do i need door magnet cencers or do you think pir is broken

yess you should have a door contact on the door and a sensor in the room aswell but that 1 for an intruder if some 1 walks in yess thats how it should be instructions
