Fix my creda T622CW Tumble dryer?

We just bought it brand new today 2nd Oct 2004 and it makes the worst sound ever. It bangs and clunks, I checked other websites and one other said that it was loud but this is rediculous is this normal?

I have a Hotpoint dryer which has just started to make the same noise. It's so bad that we can't use it.

my creda t622cw tumble dryer door does not shut ?

Actually, I'll correct myself here.

I'm only aware of the noise problem on the Vented versions. I couldn't say if the Condenser version you have suffers from the same problem.

It's a stock fault on these and the Hotpoint version.
You need to contact your dealer as it need correcting or replacing. Nearly every one we've received have also had this problem.

The drum runs so close to the cabinet at the rear of the machine that even the slightest twist in the cabinet will cause the drum to rub and make a horrendous scraping noise.

The cabinet can be pulled out slightly or twisted back to stop it. Merloni, the manufacturer really need to get their act together and sort these machines out. So far their response has been to deny any knowledge of a problem. Hmmmm.

is there any transit brackets on it that you are suppoed to remove like there are on washers?
