We receive this error code (Er07) when both the top and bottom have been switched on for a while. The bottom oven has the error code, top one is ok. The only way around this is to turn cooker off from mains and leave to cool before switching back on. Any ideas?

Answer: Don't buy Hotpoint cooker in the future.
We have the same problem even when we turn on the grill and use the hob together. Nothing seems to work including Hotpoint customer service. When ask if they were aware of the problem, their only response was to suggest I book one of their engeers at full cost. Great service especially when it is obviously a fault in the cooker.
