I have exactly the same problem. I've been trying to get a rough idea of how much it might cost to fix and most places are well in excess of £100. Plus you have to pay to send it off for a quote if you decide to get it repaired or not. I don't need to pay some one to look at it and tell me what I already know. One possible option is to send it to the states for repair.

I've been searching the internet for a service guide but can only find places that want to charge me for them.
Anyone else know how difficult it would be to repair a cracked screen yourself. Any info here would be much appreciated
