ACCENTA + G3 - PROBLEM AFTER POWER FAILURE with setting zones?

After a recent power failure my alarm seemed to restore itself to its factory settings. My code would not work, (but the original default code did) and the omitted zones were no longer in the memory (ie i only use 3 of the 8 zones, so the engineer programmed it to automatically omit the other 5 zones each time I set it.), but this does not appear to work now. I have managed to reset my code, however I dont know how to reset the zones. Can any one help?

if its been reset to factory settings, follow these steps
1.> Press the Prog button on the keypad
2.> Tap in 9999
3.> tap 5
4.> All the zone LED should now be flashing, select aa zone thats not being used (e.g zone 4)
5.> To Disable the zone Press 0 and then reset
6.> Repet steps 4-5 for every zone you need to disable and there you go
7.> just keep Taping the Reset button untill just the Day and Power LEDS' are lit and you have just fixed your problem

so in your house you have 8 pir's or 3 ? well if you have only three zones in your house hold open the main panel and check the wires were the pir wires go
and if 5 of them have no wires in there or loops i.e
it should have the number of the zones between two lines because the pir's in the wire up to the zone with two wires and then they go into either aux or 13v 0v so if 5,6,7,8, are empty loop them with wire try that or try fuse speaker 13v
