I have a new battery for my Navman S90i how do iI fit it?

I cannot see how to open the GPS. I do not want to force as I will break it. Once it is open I will be able to replace the battery

To replace the battery in a Navman S series GPS you need three things:-

1, A set of watchmaker's screwdrivers, or similar, with cross and flat blades.

2, A lot of patience!

3, This bit of information "THE BOTTOM DOES NOT COME OFF!!!!!!"

These are the steps to open it up :-

1, Remove the 2 screws from the bottom.

2, Use small flat blade screwdrivers to remove the left and right grey side pieces.
You need to take your time about this, eventually they will 'pop off'.
If you do not exercise care you will damage the case.

3, Remove the 4 screws that have been exposed.

4, Gently prise apart the 2 halves of the case.

There you have it, That is what I did to replace the battery in my S30.

All you need are the right tools, a lot of care and patience, plus these instructions.

Hope it works for you.
