car wheels have play?

i have a ford escort 98. All origanal parts just changed the wishbones and had tracking done. But when i drive the steering wheel is straight . and the wheels tend to slightly wonder left then right . you can feel it through the steering wheel. Aslo when turning a corner you can feel up to a certain point the wheel pulling to lock to that side (like oversteering) and tyers make squeeking noises . I cant find the problem can someone please help costing a fortune in the garage getting things done that has nothing to do with problem

There are several issues here that can cause your problem...
1) Wear in the steering rack and / or track rod ends
2) Worn out shock absorbers (they play a huge role in keeping the vehicle stable)
3) Worn strut top bearings - hidden on the top of the spring, they allow the spring to turn with the strut.
Poor quality tyres or incorrect tyre pressures can play a part too!
