Bosch WFK2801 error flashing code 01?

I have lost my manual for the WFK2801, it has started failing at different intervals, normally between 20 and 30 minutes into the cycle.

The washer then stop the current spin, start beeping with the pump led flashing and 01 blinking on and off on the number panel.

I have checked the filter and appears clear. The only other thing I have noticed, if I give it 5 minutes and turn back on the cycle count continues and sometimes goes through or starts the beeping again, but it never takes comfort in from the conditioner compartment (middle).

Can anyone suggest a fix or look to see what error 01 relates to?

Thanks for your time.

Paul.

We found that when the 01 comes up of you turn the dial to the swirl symbol in the section you're in (e.g. Coloured cottons) and press start it then complete the spin and pump part or the cycle. Out clothes are coming out washed an clean so far so I guess this is a work-around to the error.

I replaced the hot water solenoid valve and that fixed the problem

It's probably the Hot water inlet valve solenoid. Usually works on low temp settings and rinse/spin. Check the solenoids for 'open circuit' - if they read more than about 4K ohms then its failed.

code 01 possible cause.
tap has not been turned on
or Filter in water inlet are blocked

Hi we have exactly the same problem with our machine, my husband thinks it is that the re-cycling pump has broken. The machine apparently has two pumps and the re-cycling one is used when moving to the next part of the cycle at the point when the beeping starts. As we live in Gibraltar we have not managed to get a new pump yet to test this theory, but simply move the programme to rinse to finish the wash, which is most inconvenient!
