how do i locate where in my engine the lambda sensor ?

i have an 2000 yr vaxhall astra and apprently my lambda sensor is unplugged? does anyone know where i can locate this in my car???

There may be two lambda sensors on this car, one pre-cat and one post-cat.
I take it the engine management light is on and someone has read the diagnostics, what were the fault codes?

Follow the exhaust downpipe from the engine...the first 'silencer' looking thing is the catalytic coverter, and the lambda sensor is screwed into that.
