need to get my washing machine to drain. its a hotpoint first edition 800 wm51. it will wash but when it comes to the drain and spin cycle it will not drain or spin. it had a new controller unit 12 months ago.
Its usually the motor brushes!
About £5 on ebay, or £12 at a spares shop. try and get the long-life laminated ones; else they only last a year at most.
