My Hotpoint refrigerator is only 4-5 years old. All of a sudden, the (left side) where the water,cubed, crushed and light are (and it is NOT hooked up) makes a tick-tick sound. When I push the "light button", it still does this tick-tick..but no sound. I hit the light btn back and it returns to the sound. I removed the ice bin and a small fan does this fairly loud tick-tick sound and I can see the small fan in the back of the refrig doing this just going around slowly. It comes and goes..but I am praying that it doesn't go out. It should last another 10 years for Heaven's Sake. What could the problem be and what can I do? Please advise asap. Thank you - Joan

Well I was coming on here to see if this was happening to others as well. I just called a repair man and he replaced the main computer in the back of the refrigerator. It cost me almost $400. I wanted to find out if this was heppenig to a lot of other people.
