Hi. I hope someone can help. My washing machine has started to be very loud and I need to know if it is still under guarantee. My hubby and I cannot agree on date of purchase. The washing machine is a hotpoint, silver in colour and is model WT940. I would appreciate any kind of age related clue....

its probly still under is 5 year parts guarantee, if you ring up hotpoint they can tell you when its made from the production code / serial no.
