I have a pump on a MF 35 three cyl perkins. It leaks profusely from the throttle lever and shut off lever pivot mounts. Can the top cover of the pump come off without having to take the entire injector pump off of the tractor?

Unless you know what your doing my advise would be to remove the complete injection pump and take to a deisel shop. There is a timming mark on the pump look closly at the pump body to timming case back plate at the outside upper fixing stud were you should find a horizontal line scribed on the pump and the case. The drive or quill shaft is master splined so you will not have to retime the engine.
