peugot 206?

when battery removed and replaced car will not start why?
barry, August 2009
you should have let computers go to sleep before disconnecting battery. its a bit like switching pc off at wall, the computer looses vital information and doesnt know where it is on re-boot. you need to wait 3 minutes from last electrical operation before disconnection of battery. do not open doors or windows or use any of cars electrical equipment in this 3 minutes.to fix this, you could try putting ignition on and pressing button on key for 10 seconds. then try to start. or try disconnecting battery (waiting for shutdown of computers first!) then re-connect. if still not starting then you may have wiped information off bsi/ecu units and car will need to go on computer to reload info and code in keys. (this is why its important to wait 3 mins).
