We have a murray 14.5 hp/42" riding mower. We put new belts on. When we push the right hand foot pedel down, it doesnt move. Any idea what the problem can be?
safety lever not in right position,. or low on fluid, linkage not engaging, pump not working properly.

If the machine has hydrostatic transmission, it could be that it has been manually disconnected or even failed completely. Check that the transmission is actually turning or post back with the machine model number.
