Homelite chainsaw eats to much gas?

I seem to have to fill the tank on my Homelite XL every few minutes. I noticed that there are 3 screws. what are they for

1 screw is for High running mixture, 1 screw is for Low running speed mixture and the other is for tickover speed. If your saw is running well I wouldn't adjust these, but clean the air filter and check for leaks.
