I have a 2 litre 2002 mondeo and noticed there was a leak underneath. I jacked up the car to have a look and found it was coming out of a small pipe about two inches long at the back of the engine. The pipe looked like an outlet pipe of some sort. The liquid was clear and did not smell of anything. A neighbour suggested it could be something to do with the air con. Any help would be appriciated.

if it was coming from a pipe from the floor of your vehicle it will be the air con drain. it is perfectly normal for a lot of water to drain from this pipe when aircon is in use.
