Can I adjust a transaxle from slipping on a Sears tractor Model 917.276360?

This mower has an automatic transmission and when I push the break in and put into park the mower still moves forward. The tractor never is in neutral. Is there something I can adjust at home? I do not see anything in my manual to help.

Locate the disc brake assembly on the transaxle. Tighten the centre boly about half a turn. Test. Repeat if necessary. Count turns as you go. If there is insufficient adjustment available, return to starting position, unbolt entire caliper (2 long THIN bolts - use plenty of WD40 and let it soak in overnight. If they break off you have a major strip down to fix it) and replace pads.
