hi i have come acrosas a small snag with me 50cc speedfight 2, it runs fine without the air box sealed, but as soon as you seal it all up, it doesnt want to run to well at high revs, but fine on idle. But without the air box sealed it revs its nuts of absolutly fine. I have tried another carb, and hav eliminated that it is not a carb issue, it is somewhere in the air system wondering if anyone could help? and also advise me on what the vacum pipes do under neath.

jet it up a size you do this by taking the carb off two 8 mm bolts take the bowl off the bottom of the carb 2 philips screws take the middle brass thing out it will be a flathead thing with a hole in it when its out inspect for the number on it write it down and go to a scooter shop ask for the next size when u do this ull need to put your washer on ur needle in ur slide up a setting and to make it faster still move the washer to its bottom setting ,up also id get sum new rollers ill explain how to do tht also if u ask. and put a peformance air filter best not to be cheap spend a 10er and ull reap the rewards id advise polini or malossi all speedfights seem to bog with the standard air box its a bit of a restiction doing the following will make it rev clean and loose ur splutter thn it will be a much healthyer happier moped

speedfight airboxes are about as much use as a nun in a brothel buy your self a malossi filter and jet it up 1 size and this makes speed fighters rev much cleaner also put the washer on the needle in the carb up a setting
