125 4stroke won't start help me plz?

hi i have a 125cc 4stroke lifan hongda it has got spark and fuel coming in the carb but it wont start i took the carb off and the flap thats conected 2 the rev cable moves but the thing with the pin just stays still help me plz

dave from tampa read what he has written the throttle slide or pin does not move when he opens the throttle!!!! maybe the throttle cable has come detached from throttle slide ???and not clogged the main jet as you have suggested

Sounds like your pilot jet is clogged. Recommend that you remove the carb and have a reputable bike shop run it through their cleaning tank. This will clean up the main jet, too.

I'll bet the bike sat for a long period of time, right?

The natural breakdown of the metal/rubber parts in a carb due to petroleum & time leave a sand-like residue inside, leading to clogs.

The best way to keep this from happening is to start and run the bike regularly (at least once a week for five minutes).
