Fitting a heat exchanger to a worcester 24i junior?

I had a constant problem with loosing pressure, it turned out i had a leak from the heat exchanger. I've removed the old one (now thats a job) and am in the process of fitting the new one. when trying to fit the clips (on the 4 pipes) back on i cant compress the pipes together enough is there a tool for this.

I understand what you are saying. i am a mechanical engineer and i am working on the water side of the boiler only. the lowest quote i got for fitting the heat exchanger is 3 times what it will cost me to do it myself. Also i got a gorgi reg. engineer to fit the boiler and he was a cowboy didn't work correctly for over a year. He connected the the supply and output in reverse, so there is good and bad out there. cheers for your help and humour Elenar.
