Westwood T1400 Lawn Mover Wheel Removal?

I cannot get the rear wheel off. I've removed the circlip and 2 washers. Any ideas ?

Yep Phil is right ...I have a craftsman riding mower that need new tire and finally had to change the tire while it was on tractor or destroy the wheel

Very common problem. You will need to make a puller consisting of a bar with a bolt screwed throught the middle that will bear on the axle. Drill 2 holes in the wheel on opposite sides of the hub. Pass long threaded rods throught the holes, and put a nut on the back. Pass them through the bar and secure with another nut. Screw in the centre bolt and draw the wheel off.

It's possible that even this may not work (happened to me once in 10 years). In this case, apply heat (welding torch or similar), and proceed as above.

In extreme cases, destroy the wheel to get it off. A new wheel is cheaper than a new transaxle.
