1996 P Reg Subaru Legacy?

After 3 years good service my 13 year old faithfull Legacy has developed an ignition barrel problem wherein I have to wiggle the key out on the last turn. My local garage has recommended taking it to a dealer - how much is this going to cost and will it be economically viable ?

The car has now been taken to the Subaru Dealer and it is going to cost a total of £250.00 inc. VAT to supply and fit a new ignition barrel. One slight problem, having fitted the barrel they have now got to wait for a component from Subaru for the key programming machine, due to the age of the car (13 years). My faithful Scooby is worth every penny and also the wait !
