It's hydraulic. If it's "dragging", you might need to bleed the system. It uses the same fluid reservoir as the brakes, you will see a pipe from the side of the res. to the clutch master cylinder.
If it's not working at all either the master cylinder has failed or there is a hyd. leak, usually the slave cylinder which is inside the clutch housing.
It cant be adjusted.
