When I click on the email to open attachment. It will show open
and when I click on open the hour glass will show about 3 sec and go off. It will not open.

Any virus checkers like Norton Internet Security installed? What about firewalls, something stopping the attachment from downloading? What about the attachment, is it safe? There are some attachments that when opened allow viruses onto your machine, make sure it's from a reliable source before you open it.
