Hi my house took a hit from lightening. i have a back boiler which now dosen't work. Trying to aviod the insurance. what is the likely cause. Thanks for your help.
YOUV'E HAD A LIGHTNING STRIKE AND YOU ARE TRYING TO AVOID THE INSURANCE??? isn't a Lightning strike one of the reasons you have insurance in the first place,?!!!

can't say it's a common problem, though i'd have the power supply checked, job for a qualified engineer.
