Replacing a PIR - Veritas 8 home security system?

I need to replace a damaged PIR sensor in my Veritas 8 home security system.
How do I deactivate the system to allow me to remove and replace the PIR without causing an alarm situation.
Would appreciate help and any info/documentation/sites etc please.
Thanks

The alarm will sound as soon as you remove the PIR cover, go to the alarm key pad and enter your code. The alarm will be showing anti tamper but the alarm should stop sounding. Remove the old PIR after taking note of the supply, NC & TMP circuits. Replace the sensor, wire it up, replace the PIR cover and then press the reset key on your alarm pad. The 24HR tamper light should then go out.

ok open the main panel unplug the battery and then were the mains wire wires up to they should be a black pull out fuse if you pull out that the alarm will turn off what you need to do on the pir there should be two terminals called 12v ov ? if not it could be + -
there should be a red and black wire wire the red up to 12v black to ov and if theres tamper terminals that wires go in to make sure you put them back in tamper on the new pir and there should be 2 more terminals that either says alarm or trigger whateva pir number it is look it up on the main panel so e.g zone 2 what eva coulor on the panel it is them 2 wires need to go in to the pir e.g on the panel blue , yellow so when it is wired on the pir blue yellow when you have completed the pir first plug the batter back in first then put the black pull out fuse back in put the lid of the panel back on and you should be done if you have anymore problems get back to me on this website any time of the day thanks DEATH
