I installed this alarm some years ago and cannot find the code that was assigned at the time. Is there some way to reset the code without having the code itself. I do have the key to the electronic box installed with the system

Hi, Glenn!

With almost all Ademco panels, the following procedure will work:
1. Remove one lead of the battery in the main box.
2. Unplug the transformer from its outlet; if you can't find it, use a screwdriver and remove the wire from the terminal on the far left bottom of the circuit board.
3. Reconnect the battery and transfomer (or wire on terminal).
4. Within 60 seconds of re-applying power, at a keypad, press the * and # keys together.
5. Press #, 2, 0.
6. A sequence of 4 numbers will display, about one per second. These are the four digits of the installer code. Write it down for future use.
7. Press *, 9, 9.
8. Press (4 digits of installer code), 8, 0, 2.
9. Press 4 digits of the master code you want to use. You can now operate the system with your new master code.
