the drivers outside door handle on my ford ka wont work. any ideas how to fix it? it opens from the inside but not outside

Hi Janice, the problem will probably be a 2p spring that has snapped on the latch assembly it's an easy DIY fix if you have some common sense and a few tools, for info how contact me on nige110162(at symbol)hotmail.co.uk an I'll mail you the info, a replacement latch from Fords £42+vat box of springs from Halfords £5
