how do i fix my windscreen wipers on my 2000 astra van?

my windcreen wipers go as normal then stop half way down the screen, fitted new blades thinkin electrical

If on intermittent wipe only, new wiper motor required.
Best to change wiper mechanism too, should buy both for less than £45 from breakers.
