creda tumble dryer does not heat up?

i have a creda tumble dryer and it has no heat.
i have just changed the heating ellement but it still dont work.
the old ellemet just fell to bits when i changed it.
can any one help.

I have had the same problem on my Creda T622cw. Howver you have to fit both cutouts as a pair, that is how they are supplied. Ihave just paid £18 for the set.

Secondly I started tepairing mine some time ago and got distracted and now am not sure which wires go to the green spot cutout, if yours is same as mine could you let me knoww which wires go to which cutout.

i posted the add above .i have found out it was ,the thermostat onthe back and the one to the left. i just pulled the to wires off and connected then together and the heater started to heat up so i will relpace the first thermostat.
