Remove the two screws one under the seat hinge the other near where you feet would be. Then lift the seat and pop out the two studs. Not as the manual Iv'e got!

if you are sitting on the bike its behind your calfs,its behind the grey plastic panel there ,lift the seat up and there are two pop in clips take them out and the panel pulls off and the battery is behind it its either a ytx5bs or a ytx7abs.ok
