Unplug the appliance; take the screws out of the silver coloured metal plate on the rear of the machine; remove the element - its quite easy to do so; pull the cable from the wiring loom; there's only one; you will get a new one that has a change that stops the fuse blowing; re-fit the new one is the reverse of taking out the old one; make sure everything is ok and hopefully that will solve it

there is also a thermal fuse that may need replacing. It is attached to the heater element on the back of the dryer

Is it showing any other signs, (any lights on , like clean filter light).
If not, probably is the heater element gone, or a sensor that cuts out the heating cycle as a safeguard.
