refilling heating system?

how do i refill my heating system after replacing a radiator, the radiator is back on the wall but is obviously empty of water, there seems to be no stop cocks, guages or dials on the boiler to indicate what the pressure should be and what it currently os?, i have a potterton kingfisher 2

i dont have a combi boiler, so i take it the system will fill automatically, thanks for your help, cheers, Iael

your rad may be full off air.it has a bleed vent which can be opened with cheap little key from hardware. with heating on a few minutes,open valve to release air.when water appearsclose.job done.

As per my previous post....combi boilers have pressure gauges and filling loops - open vented systems with a header tank in the loft do not. If yours is the latter type, the header tank will replenish the radiator water, and the header tank should automatically refill.
