MAYTAG MZD2766GEQ WON'T DISPENSE ICE?

I just replaced the auger motor housing/ice tray shelf. Motor runs, auger turns — no ice is dispensed. As you're looking into the freezer at the auger, it is supposed to turn clockwise or counter clockwise?
