Works fine for me in XP and 7. Drivers load automatically when the usb is plugged in - need to use the same port each time or wait for it to install drivers again. To start the mouse working press the small button on the usb stick and then the button on the underside of the mouse. To turn the mouse off again press and hold the button under the mouse until the red light flashes once. Press and hold it again until it flashes to turn back on.

No problem getting it to work. But how do you switch it off?

i did the same, went to tesco bought the mouse H16BC1 and spent about 20 mins trying to get it to work. doing the usual stuff plug it in wait for it to instal then play around pressing the buttons in different combanations (bright spark that the misses is, through away the instrustions:(. i finally gave up and rebooted my laptop to see if it helped, no such luck. then i changed out the batteries that tesco gave me for the trusty remote control batteries, held down the button on the under side of the mouse itself, the red lazer turned on, connected to the reciver all by itself and i was away. hope this helps :P

I have managed to get this to work on my windows 7 laptop. At first although a message came up saying the laptop had found the device no cursor was displayed. I had a few stabs at it - rebooting & pressing the linking buttons but was having no luck. Eventually I accessed control panel - hardware and sound - devices and printers, and it was showing up as USB input device.
Right-clicked on the icon, left-clicked on `properties`, left-clicked on `hardware`, left-clicked on `properties`, left-clicked on `driver`, and left-clicked on `update-driver`.
I clicked on the first option to search online. Quite quickly I got a message coming up saying I was already using the most up to date driver, so I was not too optimistic, but much to my surprise, when I unplugged my USB (wired) mouse the technika one started working!

They are not idiots. The mouse won't work properly with windows default mouse drivers. It's a cockup on part of importer and Tesco.
