I have a Craftsman MRS Key Start Lawn Mower with a Briggs & Stratton 650 series engine that won't stay running. We changed the oil, spark plug, & removed the air filter for now. What else should I be doing?
If you have let it set up during the winter with gas in it you proably need to rebuild carb and clean fuel system .......old fuel turns to laquer if it sits up too long .......

check the choke is not jammed on,and ensure its only 4 stroke your using also,maybe try the throttle cable for any stretching,hope this helps.
