How do I change the Oil and Filter in Opel Astra 1.4 Selection 2002?

Do you know the location of the Sump Plug for an Opel Astra 1.4 Selection 2002 ??

Also there is no room to untighten the oil filter. Is this loosened from above the engine or below the engine?

Thanks for the info!

Run the engine to warm the oil (which will allow it to flow well). Turn off engine.
Use a T-40 Star Shaped plug in a ratchet tool to untighten the sump. You may need to use the hammer on the tool to untighten some sump plugs.
Use plenty of newspaper to save the mess and a large container to collect the oil.

Use the Oil Filter chain wrench to unscrew the oil filter. Go at it from under the car. Again protect the ground and container for the oil which is lightly to splatter in this case.

Fill about 4 litres of oil and check the oil gauge after. Allow it 3/4 between min and max mark. Turn on ignition and check the oil gauge again.

Hope this helps

Yes I believe the oil sump is on the lowest part of the underbody but I cannot point out exacty where.
Maybe someone out there with an Astra can help?

As for the filter, yes it is hard to get at maybe you can attack it from above?
