How can I fix my renault scenic automatic transmission intermittent fault?

My renault scenic (megane) automatic has a light that registers as a "See your dealer" fault in the automatic gearbox. I took it in for a full computer diagnostic which showed that is has intermittent oil flow regulation in the transmission box but registered no required action and no fault. The dealer told me to not worry about it and that they had cleared the memory so that it wouldn't come on for that again....but it did. My dad and I think that the oil flow becomes irregular when I drive the car from cold but I would feel a lot happier if I knew that for sure and was not simply hypothesising what it could be. Any ideas?

I have the same problem, have had the same "solution" from a renault dealer. Basically I think the transmission is stuffed. It only happens when the car is warm from driving in city traffic. It has become dangerous in that its just a matter of time before I get rear-ended due to the car's inability to change gears.
My (elderly) dad suggested changing the transmission oil to a thicker grade, but my mechanic said that's not possible. He suggested I sell it or spend the $3-4k needed to get new transmission fitted. The car is 8 years old and has almost 100,000kms on the clock. These are my choices!

Hello common problem on renault,s they have a oil preesurre pad on the gearbox which tells the computer what the oil line preesure is at all times.
It could be a problem inside the gearbox creating low oil pressure or more commonly the pressure pad itself go,s wrong putting the light on and storing that code.
