My Mac cat 330 does the same thing, runs until full throttle is on. The pull cord also keeps slipping and doesn't retract properly, seems to shut off after it slips in slightly. The spring is fine, i'm lost with it!

My chainsaw is difficult to start, will run for short while then cut out and will not restart. Have been informed it is beyond repair
