How do I fix the gear on my Mountfield petrol lawn mower?
The gear on my mower appears to have snapped or come off something as the wire and gear handle is slack and the gear does not engage. How do I fix this please.
The gear is engaged by a steel cable on these which is connected to the small gearbox on the back axle. You probably only need a new cable, but they can be a swine to fit.
