A strange sort of question. Anything is fixable but depends how much money you want to spend and yes of course it is replaceable. As for what is wrong with it that is difficult to determine with such a vague description of the fault & not being there to test a few things. I would suggest your best course of action would be to pay a few dollars & get someone in to make the tests & give you a price to repair it. You can then decide to repair or replace.
