Why does my Almera N16 1.5 stall every time i stop?

I have a 2000 Almera N16 1.5 with 65k on the clock. Had the timing chain replaced about 5-10k ago and all was fine until recently. Every time i pull up at traffic lights the engine splutters and cuts out. I dont have any warning lights on so cant find the problem. Could this still be a cam/crank sensor problem?

If the problem is a slow warm idle, but OK when cold I would guess the auxilliary air control valve is sticking/stuck. If it stalls when cold this probably isnt the problem. A blast of carb cleaner may sort it, or it may screwup your maf sensor if squirted in the wrong place...

Could be, but start with basics.
Does the engine seem OK otherwise, no lack of power etc?
Check air filter.
Check all air hoses and vacuum pipes for splits or leaks, make sure connectors are tight.
Remove air trunking and check inside throttle body, make sure it and the butterfly are clean, make sure breather hoses are not choked or soft/collapsed.
