changing the tax on a sharp cash register?

I own a Sharp cash register model: ER-1564. Can anyone please explain to me how to adjust the tax on it? I cannot find the manual and Massachusetts just change the sale tax from 5% to 6.25%.

Thanks

Get a newer register, dude. That one is at least 20 years old. Seriously, follow these steps:
1) Turn the key to the PGM position.
2) Enter the tax rate you want with four decimal places. For 6.25% you would enter 62500.
3) Hit the TAX key on the right side of the keyboard.
That's it! Good luck!
