timing for the peugeot 106 is pretty simple,bottom end has to be timed through a hole on the flywheel (small plastic cover located beneath the water pump).Top end of engine to be timed at top pulley(small hole needs to be aligned with a 10mm bolt).Note firing order of the car,number 1 cylinder is located nearest the plug leads, not at the wheel end(unusual to most other makes).The flywheel end where yopu remove the plastic cover you will be able to see a timing mark through the hole(quite a large mark cut into the flywheel)Ensure number 1 cylinder is up with the mark in view, if not rotate bottom end until number 1 cylinder rises and timing mark is visible.
