When the car was running did it drive OK once started, was the engine management light on?
When you turn the key do the dash lights come on as usual?
When you try to start it what happens-
Nothing at all?
Dash lights go dim but engine does not spin, is there a clicking sound from the starter?
Engine spins but faster than it used to?
Engine spins but slower than it used to?
Are any dash lights flashing when you try to start?
