iveco 3510 handbrake?

how do i adjust the handbrake on my t reg iveco 3510 , very slack to the point it has to be left in gear all times

You wern't joking when you said it was awkward!!
I used a strategicly placed LED light pen and a mirror, oh and a 90 degree "specialy modified" screwdriver, bent about 2.5-3 cm from the end. Good luck anyone else.!!!! :o)

you will find adjuster for rear brakes at top of brake backplate-access to it is through elongated slot ,you will need to use something like a bent screwdriver or similar to turn the toothed adjuster,bit awkward to do because you can't see it.by the way you should slacken h/brake cable off first then after adjusting h/brake shoes re-adjust cable.easier with wheels off!
