How can l fix my car Renault Megane Scenic 1998 reg?

Drvers window jammed open, can hear a whirring sound when l press down but nothing when l press to close. Renault Megane Scenic, 1998 reg. 1600cc.

Your motor needs replacing in the door for your window, i know as i have the same problem and going to get a new door from scrap yard as this is cheaper than replacing whole motor assembly
