Oven not working on Leisure cookmaster 100?

The right hand oven on my cookmaster 100 isn't working.
The trip on the fuse box for the cooker went, reset it but no ignition for hobs, hotplate not working and right hand oven off. Fan oven is o.k. Lights on display on.

Is there a fuse protecting these circuits and where is it.

Thanks

how to turn the timer off

nadz, December 2013
Before any electrical work turn off power at fuseboard and switch.

Hi the answer for this (i did it today) is replace the thermal fuse, you can buy a replacement from maplin for 89p.

i found the fault as there was black soot around the vent on the right hand oven side which i believe was the cause as some fat overheated causing the fuse to break.
(the right oven, hot plate and igniter were not working)
i did a continuity test on the brown live wire and also the blue neutral wire between incomer and right oven switch connection, i got a reading for the neutral but nothing for the live so- followed the brown wire back and i noticed it goes from the incomer round the front of cooker near timer then loops down behind the right oven ( left hand side from the back)( the fuse is located behind the bottom left panel- right hand side on the brown wire) and i saw some clear plastic covering a thermal fuse, so i re did the test from incomer to the first side if fuse got a good reading, then moved the second end to after the fuse and bad reading, then got a good reading between fuse and cooker switch, then tested the fuse on each end bad reading, so i snipped the fuse out remembering which was round it was! - colour pointing to the cooker switch, replaced with a new fuse the same rating (don't forget crimps)*. Turned power back on and bam all power restored, so turned power back off put electricians tape around the fuse ,put the back panel back on,
DONT FORGET turn cooker off at switch and at fuseboard before taking cover off!
Saved me around £130

Follow up on Brian's August 2010 advice, which was fine as far as it went. The thermal fuse is a small (10mm) item. Get a later replacement part number 210110544 (Thermal Cut-out + Sheet + Screw) _ (might be BEKO). Relatively simple; cut off the old one and fit new (crimp fit); this one resets itself after cooling down, so should be a one off fix. Part costs about £10. Might also be similar for left hand side. Make sure you are competent to do such a job, I got a proper repair man in and saw how it was done.

There is a thermal fuse protecting the right hand oven, also the ignition for the hobs and hot plate.

Switch off the mains supply to the cooker, pull out and remove rear panel on hot plate side.

There is a brown (live) wire with a plastic sleeving clipped to the rear of the oven, unclip and pull back sleeving and check for continuity with a multimeter set on Ohms range across the thermal fuse.

It should read 0 ohms if it's o.k. but if it's blown it won't read anything. To repace you need the get the hobs off as it comes already wired. Alternatively, if your'e very carefull not to get the wire too hot you can cut the old one out and solder in a new one. But don't make the connection too close to the fuse or you may blow it.
This way you don't have to remove hobs.

If in doubt ask someone who has experience working on electrical equipment.

Hope this helps.

I just pulled the oven out, took off the rear covers and gave it a vacuum out. I couldn't find any fuses. When I tried it again it was working, but I don't know why.

6 months later,
Now I have the clock off with no display and no fan oven!
Brian.
