auto ignitor keeps clicking?

When gas oven (newworld Plan 6) is turned on the igniter keeps clicking even after oven is up to temperature

I believe the igniter electrode tip has to be in the flame after ignition to then cancel the sparking. Maybe the tip is too far away from the flame?
